Title. explain. ( the title needs to be functional- not confusing)

1. ポイントは最高！私たちはポイントを愛用してます。
points are great!! We like points.

ポイントを使うことによって、自分がいいたいことをピンポイントで伝える事ができ、人々が内容を覚えて、書き留めて、すぐに読むことができます。
Points help you pin point what you really want to say in clear bit size chunks which people can remember, write down, read quickly.

また内容がずれないように助けてくれます。
They also help you stay on track.

あなたが本当にいいたいこと、１つか２つ考えてみてほしい。あなたのメッセージのポイントは何？そのことを頭にいれて、ポイントをつくっていこう。最後のポイントを行動にむけることが大事。
Think about what is the one or two things that you really want to say? What’s the point to your message. Build you points around that. a good idea is to have your last point moving toward action.

ジョンFケネディの「人を月におくる」スピーチは歴史の中でも最高のスピーチです。

John F. Kennedy’s “man to the moon speech” is one of the greatest of all time.

2. 参照
Reference.

あなたのポイントをバックアップするは何？　それはあなたの個人的な意見？それとも何かに基づいていますか？
What’s backing up your point? Is it your opinion or its it backed up by something.

私は聖書を使います。その他にも名言、歴史的な事実、最初に言われた事実（どこからくるコンセプトなのか）に基づくことができます。
For me, I use the bible. You could use a quote, a reference from an expect,  historical fact, the law of first mentions ( where was the concept first from? )

3.　具体例　 Illustration.

説明。ストーリー。シンプルにする。良い教師は複雑なものを理解できるほどシンプルにします。
Explain. stories. make it simple. the best teachers take the complex and make it understandable.

具体例はメッセージではありません。具体例が大半を占めないようにしましょう。メッセージを補足するために使います。
Your illustrations are not the message- Don’t let them take over. Let them SUPPORT your message.

具体例を話す時はゆっくりと、ペースと声のトーンを変えましょう。人々がメッセージに共感できるようにしましょう。
This is good time to slow down, change the pace and tone of your voice- help people connect with the message.

4. 適応（どうやって実践できるのか？）
Application. “How do i do it?”

話の大半はここにもっていきましょう。どのようにあなたのコンセプト、教え、メッセージを行動にうつすのか。
This should be the bulk of the talk. How to put your concept/ teaching/ message into action.

ある人は、ここでもっともオリジナルで誰もが考えついた事がないコンセプトをいわなければいけないと思って自分に大きなプレッシャーをかけてしまいます。ただ、世の中にはアイディアや意見はつきません。それと実践の間には大きなギャップがあります。
I think most people put huge pressure on themselves by needing to come up with the most original concepts and material that no one has ever thought of before. There is no shortage of ideas and opinions in the world- there is a huge gap between that and application!

実践の場面では、共感できるようにしましょう。あなたが話していることが毎日の生活、職場、場面で適応できるのであれば、部屋の中で最も面白い人になる必要はありません。
let the application connect! you don’t have to be the funniest person in the room if you can apply what you are talking about to every day life/work/situations.

多くの若いスピーカーは、自信がないので過度に惹き付けようとします。ウケることにフォーカスしすぎて、人々を助けることよりも、好かれようとします。人々に話すことは、あなたがスーパースターになることではなくて、聞いてる人々に役立つものを届けることです。
A lot of younger speakers try to over connect because they are not confident. they try to be so funny that they use all their time trying to make people like them rather than helping people. speaking to people isn’t about you being a star, its about helping them.

私が通訳者の人にいうことは（彼らは最高です！）自分にフォーカスを置かない事。話している人々にフォーカスを置く事。彼らを見て話してください！とつたえています。
One the things I say to our young translators ( who are amazing!!) is don’t focus on yourself –  focus on the people. look at them.

必要に応じてこのプロセスを繰り返してください。

最後に男性にむけてのアドバイス：　部屋にいる男性にフォーカスを置いてください。男性の目をみて、彼らに共感してもらいましょう。女性は素晴らしいコミュニケーション能力があるので、どっちみち反応してくれます。女性にフォーカスをおくのではなく、男性にも共感してもらえれば、皆に反応してもらえます！
Last advice for the men: Focus on the men in the room. Look at the men, connect with them. women are amazing communicators and will be there more responsive so don’t worry about trying hard to connect with them- focus on getting the guys in and you will have everyone!

1. 観客を知る
Understand your audience.

ピータードラッカーはこういいました。「コミュニケーションとは聞き手が聞くことだ」
Peter Drucker Said “Communication is what the listener hears“

彼らが聞く必要があるもの。私自身、芸能人、高校生、大勢の観客、少人数のグループ、子供の前で話したことがあります。皆同じ人間ですが、彼らに共感してもらうために変えなくてはいけないことはあります。
What do they need to hear. I have spoken to celebrities, high-school students, large crowds, small groups of leaders, children. People are the same, but some things you will need to change if you are going to relate.

メッセージは同じかも知れませんが、パッケージは違います。パッケージが心半分だと、どんなにメッセージが最高でも、特別な気持ちにはなりません。
The message might be the same, but the packaging is different. If the packaging is half hearted, it doesnt matter how good the message is, it doesnt feel speacial.

一つ確かな事は、誰に話していても、ベストを尽くす必要があるということです。私は５０人に対しても、１０００人に対しても同じように情熱的に話すように若いスピーカーにチャレンジしています。その部屋の人はあなたのものだ。そして、私たちが伝えるメッセージはわたしたちのものです。
One thing is for sure- you need to give your best no matter who you are talking to. I challenge our young speakers to speak passionately no matter if there is 50 people or 1000. You owe that to the people in the room. And we owe that to the message we are bringing.

2. あなたにとってベストなノートのスタイルを見つけよう
Work out a style of notes that works for you!

マーチン・ルーサー・キング Jr.の「私には夢がある」というスピーチはまだ耳に残っています

私は色々違うスタイルのノートを使っています。絵がかかれたものから、色々な色でハイライトしたものや一字一句書き記したものまで！！
I’ve used a lot of different styles of notes. from drawings in a circle, to higlighting everything in different colours to writting out every point to writting out every word!!

あなたにとって効果的な方法を見つけてください。見やすいもの、すぐ見つけられるもの、気がとられないもの。ノートはただ助けるものであり、ノートの後ろで隠れないでください。ノートはあなたのかわりに話してくれません！あなたが話すのです。私は素晴らしいノートを準備してきているにもかかわらず、うまく話せなくて雰囲を悪くしてしまった人を知っています。
You have to work out what works for you. Something thats easy to see, easy to find your place, not distracting. remember notes are an aid-don’t hide behind them. They don’t speak for you- you do!! Ive seen people with amazing notes but not speak well and people with a couple lines and bring the house down.

またどのようなスタイルのスピーチをしているのかによって異なります。
It also depends of what style of speaking you are doing

- 教える場合、ノートがたくさんあっても良いです。
- its its teaching, then often you will have plenty of notes and thats fine

- 激励のスピーチなら、人と強いつながりがほしいので、多くのノートは必要ないかもしれません。
- if its a motivational talk, maybe not as many notes because you want to hold a strong connection with people.

3. 流れを理解する！
Understand flow!!

オバマ総理（アメリカ）
President Barak Obama.( USA)

人の集中力には限界があります。通常は面白かったら１０分間ひきつけることができます。面白くなかったら、もっと短いです。
There is an attention span people have. Usually its 10 minutes if your interesting, less if your not so good.

つまり、人々をひきつけ続けるために、１０分ごとにあたらしいことをする必要があります。メッセージにビジュアルを足すことかもしれません。ポイントから、ストーリーに、冗談や観客とのやりとりかもしれません。
That means I need to change what I’m doing every ten minutes to keep peoples attention fresh. Could be as simple as adding a visual to the talk. Going from points into story, a joke, or an interaction with the audience.

一番大事なこおは、一つのポイントからどうやって次のポイントへいくかということです。練習してください。大きな声を出して。声に出すと、違ったりします（頭の中で話すよりも！）
One the most important things is how you go from one point to the next. Practice it. out loud! Things sound different out loud ( rather than just in your head)

4. ストーリーを練習しよう！！
Practice the stories!!!

これには想像力が必要です。練習して、磨く事ができます。お笑いの人がこれが得意です。彼らは毎日、私たちの日常の中のものを面白くひねった話を練習しています。お笑いの人は世の中の見方が違うからです。彼らをとおして、私たちも違った見方をすることができます。
This takes imagination. You can practice and develop that. comedians are the best at this. they practice everyday stories that we all relate to but somehow we realize how funny they are- because comedians see the world differently. And they have the ability to help us see differently as well.

（他の人の話をする場合は、彼らの許可を事前にとっておいてください）
(If you are going to use other peoples stories its always good to get their permission)

私は過去の話がたくさんあります。また、神様によって人生が変えられた人の話をたくさん知っているので、私が話す時は、感動するストーリーがたくさんあります。そのようなストーリーを話すことによって雰囲気を変えることができます。
I have a lot of stories from my past and I know a lot of people whose lives have been changed by God so I have so many moving stories to tell when I speak. Those kinds of stories can change the atmosphere.

私が１５歳のとき、毎週末、馬の糞を拾う仕事をしていた時、私は誰も聞こえない場所で馬にむかって話していました。馬の前でストーリーを伝える話をしていたのです。馬が私のメッセージに反応していることを想像していました。そのときは、私の夢が実現して、数百人の前で話すことは想像していませんでした。
When I was working a job picking up horse poo every weekend as a 15 year old, I would speak to the horses out in the fields where no one could hear. I would practice my stories on them. I would imagine them responding to my message. I didn’t realize that one day I would be living my dreams every week speaking to hundreds of people.

私にとってストーリーは人々が覚えることができて、人々が変わるためにインスピレーションを与えられるものです。特に日本で。他のものがうまくいかなくても、ストーリーをもっと探します！
For me stories are the thing that people remember the most and what inspires people to change, especially in Japan. When all else fails, Im going for more stories!!

5. 飛行機を着地させる
Land the plane.

イエス：心に語りかける能力があって、考えを理解することができた。彼の言葉は地球上の1/3の人口によって信じられてる！
Jesus- The ability to speak into our hearts and understand our thoughts. His word are believed by over 1/3 of the planet today!

つまりオチ（着地点）がちゃんとあること。ダラダラ話さない。同じポイントを繰り返さない、いったりきたりしない。
This means get to the point. Dont ramble- includes repeating yourself over and over, circling back to the same point, jumping between thoughts.

私は大きなポイントの間につなげる文章を練習します。しばらくすると自然にできるようになります。
I often practice the connecting sentences between major thoughts. after awhile this will be more natural.

ポイントはちゃんといいましょう！ミステリアスにならなくていいです。皆混乱して、スイッチオフんいなります。ポイントについて、実践的なことを伝えましょう。今の世代が求めているものです。
Just say the point! You don’t have to be mysterious. Its confusing and people switch off. Say the point and get to application because thats what this generation really wants to hear.

6.　応答でしめくくる　 End with a response.

変化を求めよう。心に語ろう。行動にうつしてもらう。それが話すことの意味。何かをかえるため。
Ask for change. go for the heart. get people to act. Thats the whole point of the talk! to change something.

皆がする質問は「じゃあ、何をする？」自分が終わる前に、その質問の答えを提供しよう！
The question people will be asking is ” now what do I do?” answer that question for them before you finish.

1. 一番情熱があるものに対してクリエイティブになっている
Your most creative about your most passionate about.

誰かと付き合っている時、愛を表現するためにクリエイティブな方法を見つけます。インターネットのデートスポットを検索して、洋服もおしゃれを心がけます。もし、メッセージを人々に伝えることだとしたら、どれぐらい時間をかけても、できるだけ多くの人にメッセージを伝えようとします。特に資源が足りない場合。お金がない場合、余計クリエイティブさが発揮されます！
When your dating your finding creative ways to express love. You will search the internet for date spots write letters, start dressing well! If its reaching people with a message it doesnt matter how long it takes you will find a way to share your message with as many people as possible. Especially if you are under resourced- you seem to get very creative when your budget is next to nothing!

2. クリエイティブさと芸術的なのは同じ事ではない。芸術的な人のほとんどはクリエイティブ度は低い！
Being creative and being arty is not the same thing. Sometimes the most arty people are the least creative!

クリエティブさは色々な形やサイズであらわれます。子育て、仕事、フィットネス、お金、人間関係においてクリエイティブさは大事です。また仕事でもプロセスを改善するためにクリエイティブさが必要になります。または大きなイベントの準備でも必要です。どこにいてもクリエイティブさが拡大されると信じましょう！
Creativity can come in many shapes and sizes. You need creativity to manage children, work, fitness, money, relationships. You need creativity to come up with a better process at work. Or organize a great event. Believe for an increase in creativity wherever you are!

3. クリエティブさはコミュニケーションをはかる情熱からきます！人々に何かを受け取ってほしい、感じてほしい、聞いてほしいという思いです。すべてがコミュニケーションです！ピータードラッカー氏がいいました。「コミュニケーションは聞き手が聞くことです」。そのため、みんなと違うことをしようとするよりは、一番のクリエイティブさは、複雑なメッセージを「わかった！」とシンプルにすることだと思います。それはメッセージに合わせたビジュアルかもしれないですし、クリエティブなたとえや表現かもしれません。私の場合は、人々が共感できるエピソードを思いうかべます。クリエイティブさの目的は当たり前のことを新しい見方ができるように助ける事です。もしくは、今まで見た事がない最高のものを見せることです。
Creativity comes from a passion to communicate! Wanting people to receive something. feel something, hear something, understand something in a new way. but its all communication! Peter Drucker says “communication is what the listener hears,” so instead of trying to be out there for the sake of being different, the best creativity takes a complex message and puts in a way that makes people have a ” Oh, now I see! ” moment. It could be a great visual to go with a talk, a creative illustration or metaphore. often for me, its part of my story that people can relate to. But the purpose of creativity is to help people see the obvious in a new way. Or see something amazing they have never seen before.

Take ownership of challenges- you have to find a way no one else is going to do it for you.

5. 「みんな」あなたよりも賢いことを理解しましょう！全員ではないかもしれませんが、一人一人あわせたら、確実にあなたよりは賢いです。そのため、私はチームが好きです。
Understand “Everyone” is smarter than you! Maybe not every person individually, but but definately everyone together. thats why  I love the team.

6. 「はい」といいましょう。芝居の学校では、先生がどのようにクリエイティブなロールプレイを行うために、一つのグループは驚異的なことを発言し、もう一つのグループは「ノー」といったり、否定することができないようにします。彼らはその発言にのって、「はい」といわなければいけません。そのあと自分たちも驚異的な発言をつけくわえます。ポイントは、クリエイティブさを発揮できる空間が与えられたら成長します。自分が考えたものすべてが採用されるわけではないですが、皮をあつくして、もっとクリエティブなものを提供していきましょう！！

Say yes. In acting school when teachers are teaching students how to do creative role plays they are told to say outrageous things and the other people in group are not allowed to say no, or refuse the statement- they have to play along saying ” YES” then adding their own outrageous statement. The point is, when creativity is allowed to have space it grows. That doesn’t mean everything you think of will be used- so have thick skin and keep on coming up with more creative things!!

I will often sit on the edge of a table in my living room where I have a really really big white board with a pen in hand and will start writing things. the more I write the more things become clear. usually in all my writing I stumble across some gold that is inspired! thats the money idea!

1. ヒルトンプラザのカフェ　１階には美味しいランチセットとおかわり自由のコーヒーがあります。（３回まで）
また日中はガラス越しに梅田の町並みが見えて、良い雰囲気です。オープンスペースにあるカフェなので、プライバシーはあまりありませんが、最初のデートにおすすめです。喫煙者の側には座らないようにしてください。ホームページには記載されていませんが、まだありますのでいってみてください！ 7/10

1. Cafe in the Hilton Plaza 1st floor has a nice lunch set and good coffee that is refillable ( three times I think). Its a nice atmosphere in the day because of the glass wall overlooking the Umeda street. Its out in the open so not a lot of privacy but a good first date! Just don’t sit near the smokers. its not on the website, but its there, trust me!  7/10

2. なんばハッチにある「リバーカフェ」はアジアン料理レストランです。食事は美味しいです。インドネシア料理、日本料理、韓国料理、タイ料理と色々あります。最近、階層したのでますます雰囲気がよくなりました。食事をする人は、階段をあがったブースに座れるので、良いです。唯一残念なのは、喫煙者が多いので点数を少しさげます。　7/10

2. The river cafe in Namba Hatch is a cool little asian cuisine restaurant. The food is great. They have Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Thai food. They have recently renovated so it looks great. If you are going for lunch, they give you these little upstairs booths that are great. The only down point about this restaurant is the smoking. for that I give it 7/10

3. Amelie で一番印象に残ったのは、食べ放題のパンと良いオリーブオイル。ランチではテーブルいっぱいに色々な種類のパンとオリーブオイルがおいてあり、選ぶことができます。フランス料理です。ガレット（フランス風クレープ）がメインです。甘いものと食事用のものがあります。私よりも、妻のいずみが気に入っていたので、女性におすすめです。 8/10
3. Amelie is most known for its all you can eat bread and good olive oil. For lunch set, they have a big table full of all different types of breads and olive oils. Its french food . They have galettes. A Savory and a sweet one. very nice! My wife Izumi liked this place more than me so give it a go girls!  8/10

4. クレープリー　アルション　なんばにある小さなレストランで、古代ヨーロッパへタイムスリップしたような雰囲気です。フランス式のクレープで甘い種類のと食事用のとありますが、両方ともとても美味しいです。背が高い人は、屋根がとても低く階段が狭いので注意してください。1920年代のフランス映画のような外観です。楽しい時間を過ごせました。8/10

4. The crepe shop Alcyon in Namba is a fun little restaurant that feels like you have gone back in time in europe. Its french style savory and sweet crapes are amazing. be careful if you are tall because the roof is small and the staircase is tiny. It looks like something out of a 1920 french movie. We had a lot of fun at this place! 8/10

5.モンスーンカフェは梅田にあるタイ料理のレストランです。１０００円のランチセットはドリンク、サラダバー、メイン料理とデザートバーがついていて大変お得です。サービスも最高！デコレーションもモダンでかっこいいです。雰囲気も「おしゃれ」で周りの人たちもおしゃれです。友達を連れて行くと皆喜んでくれます。 8/10

5. Monsoon Cafe is a Thai Cafe in Umeda. It has a really good lunch set for around 1000 yen including drinks, salad bar, main, and desert bar. Really good value and the service is great! The decor is very modern and cool. It feels like and “oshare” ( hip) crowd there. I’ve taken a lot of friends here as well and they have all been impressed! 8/10

6. オーガニックとベジタリアンカフェAtl カフェのコーヒーは今のところ大阪で一番美味しいです！スタッフもとても親切で、僕たちのことを覚えていてくれています。ベーグルもとっても美味しい。心斎橋にあるクリスピークリームの近くで、２階にあがったところにあります。口コミで広まったら人気があがると思うので、今のうちにいってみてください。9/10

6. The organic and vegetarian Atl cafe has Probably got the best coffee in Osaka so far. The staff are really nice and remember us every time we go there. The bagels are amazing too. Its small, right near Krispy Kreme on the second floor. I think this place will become very popular once the word gets out so check it out soon. 9/10

7. Antico Caffeのコーヒーは最高です！また色々な軽食がおいてあるので、色々試してシェアすることができます。（分けるのが好きな人は是非！）イタリアのバーのようなスタイルです。とてもおしゃれです。喫煙席もありますが、外の席もあります。いく度にヨーロッパにいったような気分になります。是非いってみてください。 9/10

7. Antico Caffe has great coffee!! They have a good variety of small antipasto foods so you can try different things and share food ( if you like sharing!). The style is like an italian Bar- very classy. Some parts are smoking but they have outside too. feels like we are in Europe when we go there. definitely worth checking out. 9/10

8. Plum Nature Cafe は大阪で一番好きなカフェの一つです。いくつかありますが、主に心斎橋のビッグステップの上の階にあるプラムネイチャーカフェにいっています。個室もたくさんあり、外もおしゃれです。デコレーションは10/10です。コーヒーも美味しいです。またランチセットでサラダや小皿のバイキングもあります。 9/10

8. Plum Nature Cafe is one of our favorite cafes in Osaka. There are several but the main one we go to is Shinsaibashi on the top floor of big step. It has some private rooms and the outside is really cool. 10/10 for decor. The coffee is good. They also have some good lunch sets with a buffet style salad and extras. 9/10

9. HARBS ケーキ では日本で美味しいケーキが食べられます！難波パークス、心斎橋、梅田、また他の場所にもあります。１４００円の美味しいランチセットでは、美味しいパスタ、おかわり自由のコーヒーと（デカイ）ケーキの半分サイズが食べられます。雰囲気もおしゃれなので、何度もいってます！　9/10

9. HARBS Cake shop has the best cakes in Japan!! They have shops in Namba Parks, Shinsaibashi, Umeda and other locations.

They have a really good lunch set for about 1400 yen with great pasta, great refill coffee and half of a (huge) cake. Its a classy environment and we have been there heaps of times! 9/10

10. ポンテベッキオが大阪で一番おすすめのデートスポットです！ 毎週行けるような場所ではありません。 特別な時にいくべきレストランです。大阪でも最高のレストランです。（一番かも）有名なシェフの山根大助さんは素晴らしいです。コース料理で５皿ぐらいでましたが、あまりにも美味しくて、その後何日間も朝目覚める瞬間、思い出していました。サービスも最高級で、値段も驚くほど良心的でした。色々なところにいきましたが、北浜が本店です。（一番良かったです）。梅田のポンテベッキオは30階にあります。ランチのほうが夕食よりもお財布に優しいです。是非予約してみてください！ 10/10

10. Ponte Vecchio wins the best date spot in Osaka for us. Its not somewhere you go every week. Its a special occasion place. One of ( if not THE) best food in Osaka. The famous chef Daisuke Yamane is amazing. We had a 5 course fine dinning experience that i was waking up thinking about for days to follow. The service is next to none and the price was surprisingly reasonable. We have been to three different locations in Osaka. The Kitahama one is the original ( and probably the best). The Umeda location has an incredible view on the 30th floor. Lunch is much more affordable than Dinner. Be sure to make a reservation! 10/10
